Everton 4 Employment

• In Everton 4 Employment, participants work towards achieving vocational qualifications and attend a two week work experience placement at various companies in the area.

Entry 2 Employment

• Goal Getters, an initiative set up by Middlesbrough FC in the Community, runs a full-time programme for people aged 16-18 offering the opportunity to progress to employment, training or a vocational programme at a higher level.

Fan Guide 2011/2012

• The Guide, in a reader-friendly PDF format, welcomes all fans to Portsmouth’s Fratton Park stadium by incorporating all the details needed for a day visit.

Anti-Hooliganism

• The club takes a stance against hooliganism that it calls the 3 F’s: Fair, Firm and Friendly.

Strike a Balance

• The aim of this project, organised by Manchester City FC’s community arm, City in the Community (CITC) is to help young people in Manchester primary schools to eat healthier and take part in more physical activity.

Girls Health & Well-Being Project

• This project commenced in September 2008 and aims to improve the health and well-being of teenage girls living in disadvantaged communities.

Show Racism the Red Card (SRTRC)

• Show Racism the Red Card is an anti-racist charity, established in January 1996.

Tiger Cubs

• The project aims to provide children with Down’s Syndrome the same benefits of being on a team as their able-bodied peers and to improve the participants’ overall physical, social and emotional health.

Moving the Goalposts

• Moving the Goalposts is a social inclusion project that is aimed at developing opportunities for Gypsy, Roma and Traveller (GRT) communities in West London to help access high quality football and sport.

Street Reds

• Manchester United Foundation uses football to engage and inspire young people to build a better life for themselves and unite the communities in which they live.

Off the Bench

• Off the Bench is a programme run by totaljobs.com and QPR in the Community Trust to help local unemployed get back to work.

Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)

• The students will enrol on a TEFL course and train in local schools for 4 months. They will then spend up to 8 months with one of the overseas schools, coaching football and teaching English.

Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) in Alexandra Town, Johannesburg

• The programme uses football as a means to build stronger cohesion within the community in Alexandra Township, Johannesburg between young people and the South African Police Service.

Inside Right

• Inside Right is being delivered by five professional football clubs that harness the power of football to assist young service men and women as they return to everyday life in the UK.

Environment Agency Partnership

The Premier League / Professional Footballers’ Association Community Fund

• The City Football Academy project provides overarching benefits for football (sustainable youth development), community (land, educational and leisure facility donations) and local regeneration (environmental and economic).

Social Enterprise Academy

• The programme runs over 13 weeks with a focus on disengaged learners and the students achieve an accredited qualification for studying business and social enterprise.
