The project has achieved success in bringing the youth of Lebanon together, across a cultural divide, to establish football clubs or “Popular Clubs” across the entire nation. The organisers of the clubs attend courses that will equip them to carry on the work when the external support withdraws.

Hintergrund

The cooperation between the Rockwool Foundation and CCPA started in 2008 and seeks to promote peaceful coexistence between conflicting groups in Lebanon. It uses football to stimulate the development of an active civil society built on equality and diversity.
